About

Where roads are made I lose my way.
In the wide water, in the blue sky there is no line of a track.
The pathway is hidden by birds’ wings, by the star-fires, by the flowers of the wayfaring seasons.
And I ask my heart if its blood carries the wisdom of the unseen way.
-Rabindranath Tagore

‘ello people! Welcome to my blog. 🙂

Peoples’ words have often inspired me and left me in awe case in point the aforesaid lines. Life too inspires me in beautiful ways and this blog is my attempt to share that with people and perhaps inspire them in the process. I talk about the questions I find asking myself, my ideas about the world we live in, the emotions we feel and our quest to find ourselves in the midst of the chaotic jungle we inhabit.

A little about me then:

I call myself a closet writer because I have been writing poems for a long time. My writing style is simple and straight forward, a reflection of who I am. I never had any intention of sharing my poetry because I used to write it purely for myself, neither did I ever think anybody would be interested in reading what I wrote about. And then one day a friend said to me “Not everybody out there wants to read or understands complicated poetry; people want to read things that they can understand without wracking their overburdened heads too much.” I also realised that it was an opportunity to share my way of viewing this beautiful world with people who are a part of it. That’s it, I decided to take the plunge and The Thought Umbrella was born.

I hope you enjoy reading the blog. If you like what you read, do share your ideas and thoughts with me. Thank you for stopping by. 🙂
